Animal Identification Coding

KLBA has developed a herd-based system that connects to an individual property and animal number from a specified region or location. This identification or coding system is based on the International Committee on Animal Recording (ICAR) standards on animal identification.
The identification system includes both visual and electronic tags and has been adopted by breed societies and has now rolled out.
